In March 2024 I embarked on an Artist Residency in the Laikipia Region of Kenya. I spent the following 3 months exploring the wonders of the Lolldaiga Hills Conservancy and capturing the diverse wildlife that enhabited the area.
This drawing was inspired by one of the three dominant males that patrolled the Lolldaigas and had mating rights over the 5 prides that inhabit the area. His majestic gaze and countless battle scars across his face gave the drawing its name.
This is an original wildlife art piece that will be sold mounted and framed.
