Kenya Collection
In March 2024, I set off to Kenya for a 3 month artist residency, situated in the heart of the Lolldaiga Hills Conservancy, Laikipia. My goal was to create a body of work that truly portrayed the dramatic and diverse landscapes, wildlife and people of Lolldaiga. This wild and wonderful place gave me exposure, connectedness and time, a perfect recipe for inspiration and experimentation to flourish. Considering Kenya's diverse culture and over 40 spoken languages, art is a powerful communication tool that transcends culture, religion and dialect to tell a story, to educate and to inspire.
