This piece was heavily inspired by a saying I picked up on my recent trip to Tanzania 'Pamoja Tunaweza'. 
Did you know that painted dogs hunt in large packs and have a success rate of up to 80% on all hunt attempts. This astronomically high figure is only possible due to their teamwork and strategies within the pack. Pamoja Tunaweza.
 
These beautiful painted dogs are also sadly an endangered species with their biggest threats to life coming from human conflict and restricted habitat. The Kalahari African Wild Dog Trust aims to identify potential solutions through research, monitoring, collaboration and human wildlife conflict mitigation in order to gain a better understanding of painted wolf ecology outside of protected areas, and the threats facing them. 
Since the painted dog's main threat to life is hunting by farmers worried about the wellfair of their livestock, the vitality of human-nature collaboration is clear. Together We Can work to provide a solution to these conflictual and habitat related threats to the painted dog. 
 
15% of all proceeds will be donated to the Kalahari African Wild Dog Trust.
