Did you know that male bumblebees sleep on lavender stems? This original artwork was inspired by the spring bumblebees we have at home, in sunny Sussex, that gravitate towards a large lavender plant in the garden. After learning that these fuzzy insects in fact sleep on the lavender, I had to capture them in my next piece.
